Cornerstone College
We provided a workshop to teaching staff and 20 student leaders during Cornerstone College’s Professional Development week, a week of preparation prior to the teaching term.
We modelled the Standford University Design Model, and we developed prototypes of what learning may look like at Cornerstone in the future, based around 5 key provocations:
What do we understand about the pace of change?
How do we allow for more curiosity, self-exploration and student agency?
How might we treat learners (students and teachers) as whole people – learning focusing on physical, spiritual, social, emotional and mental wellbeing?
How might we design a compass with our learners, not build the map?
How might we ask better questions?
We appreciate the opportunity and write up by Tony Moffa, Senior School Learning Area Teacher, about the era of the 4th industrial revolution and the increasing importance of physical connectedness.
