We began providing mission-focussed work to Learning Creates Australia’s Social Lab from February. We helped activate the network and get people involved in, and regularly facilitated the Social and the Y Lab.

Louka Parry assisted Catholic Education South Australia by co-facilitating a session during Future Anything’s Activate Regional youth innovation competition.

Engaged by the Department of Education South Australia to evolve the recognition approach that supports and recognises great teaching and learning.

Engaged by Catholic Education South Australia to design the learn well foundations that increase the quality of wellbeing through learning.

As with the previously year, we provided integrated support, co-facilitation, and special presentation for the Leadership Summit that supported over 100 student leaders from across the State and country, hosted at St Peter’s College.

Published an article and participated in the panel at the World Innovation Summit for Education (Qatar foundation) inter-national conference titled “Education Disrupted, Education Re-Imagined” hosted in April 2020.

Delivered the keynote address at the Queensland Education Leadership Institute Wellbeing Conference on SEL and adaptiveness in Brisbane, March 2020.

Hosted the Social Emotional Learning round-table as part of the series delivered by Karange, Knowledge Hook, and Salzburg Global Seminar in October 2020.

Louka Parry presented a session in Marakesh for the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement on social emotional learning,

Delivered a session for the “Leading Innovation Webinar Series, session 2 of 7: Wellbeing by Design – Connection in the Age of Social Distancing” at the Association of Independent Schools of South Australia.

Louka spoke at Stanford d.school Future Fest event in person in California, January 2020, as part of a fellowship and micro-residency.

Louka Parry co-facilitated the Karanga Global Alliance for Social Emotional Learning conferences throughout the year in addition to executive role leading the organisation.

Delivered the keynot address for St Columba College, Adelaide, to teachers about ideas for the future of learning in July 2020.

Partnered with Annesley College, Adelaide, as a thought leader to support the development of their school stategy.

Louka was among the global leaders who contributed to the “Lessons from Lockdown” conference hosted by University of Melbourne and Educational Data Talks (EDT).

Co-design and co-delivery with the Department’s External Relations for Governing Council Chairs from SA throughout 2020.

Delivered a 4-part series with Dr Stephen Harris and also delivered a keynote address.

Keynote and Workshop delivery for Glenunga International High School’s Leadership Day event.

Co-facilitated and contributed to the Ontario Principals Council Wellbeing Session in August 2020.

Provided virtual workshop & report summary to the Benidgo School of Technology, Victoria, in September 2020.
